Why did I write this book? It started as a consequence of a conversation with the partner of a friend; she outlined the reasons why she was just about to leave him. I felt quite disturbed afterwards, thinking about how yet another of my male friends was about to lose a fantastic dynamic beautiful woman because he just wasn't listening. I thought about my own mistakes and the high cost of them in my relationship. What is it about us men I wondered.
I woke up the next morning and the book was there, in my head. I sat down and wrote for 10 hours non stop, and the core of the manuscript was born. I spent 5 years working it, adding to it, getting feedback, and this seems to be a never ending process. I have enjoyed each stage, from writing to publishing, though of course finding the time is always the most difficult part.
The book is published in Spanish by a Mexican publisher; he has divided it into 5 smaller books. Email me below if you wish to be informed upon publication.

I live with
my wife on the north coast of New South Wales. I am in private practice as
a psychotherapist, assisting people in discovering their inspired career
path, and I am the founder and director of the Northern Rivers Gestalt Institute.
I developed an interest both in psychotherapy and meditation as a teenager, and have continued to explore both fields. I regularly tour the United States, running workshops on therapy and spirituality.
I have also pursued a range of interests including theatre,
clowning and community development. My interest in positive social change is
currently directed towards the establishment of an international educational
tertiary facility which will teach Prout (Progressive Utilisation Theory).
